ABOUT US
Organizational Background
Irman Foundation was founded in 2018 to impact and change people’s lives in rural Somalia. We are a charitable organization that seeks to influence people to self-reliance through skills development, empowerment, mentorship, information, and providing the appropriate resources. We focus on mobilizing communities towards responsible and sustainable development. Our priority is to eradicate poverty in the communities we serve by promoting food security and good health.
Our foundation also ensures that the people in rural Somalia have access to education, live in a healthy environment, and are treated with dignity. We believe that overcoming poverty is an act of justice rather than a task of charity. Irman Foundation is committed to addressing the issues affecting the most vulnerable members of our society to promote resilience, sustainability, and empowerment.
